About the Role
As a Home Cleaner at Home Cleaning SG, you will deliver professional cleaning services to residential customers across Singapore. You will be assigned to homes — HDB flats, condominiums and landed properties — and trusted to carry out thorough, consistent cleaning to our service standards on every visit.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. Ideally, you should have prior cleaning experience to apply but we also provide full, structured training before your first assignment. What matters most is that you are reliable, take pride in your work and can represent Home Cleaning SG professionally in our customers’ homes.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning
- Sweep, vacuum and mop all floor surfaces (tiles, timber, vinyl and carpeted areas)
- Dust and wipe all surfaces — furniture, shelves, ledges, light switches, door handles and skirting boards
- Clean windows, glass panels, frames, sills and tracks (reachable height)
- Remove cobwebs from ceilings, ceiling fans and light fittings
- Empty bins and replace bin liners throughout the home
Kitchen Cleaning
- Clean and sanitise countertops, sinks, faucets and backsplash
- Degrease and wipe down all appliance exteriors (fridge, oven, microwave, hood filters)
- Clean inside and outside of cabinets and drawers where included in the service scope
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floor
Bathroom Cleaning
- Scrub and disinfect toilet bowls, basins and shower areas
- Clean mirrors, fixtures, fittings and glass panels
- Mop bathroom floors and sanitise all surfaces
- Clear floor drains and clean exhaust fans
Bedrooms & Living Areas
- Dust and wipe all surfaces, fans and air-conditioner exteriors
- Vacuum and mop all bedroom and living area floors
- Change bed linen where included in the service scope
- Tidy and organise spaces as directed by the customer within scope
Professional Conduct
- Follow Home Cleaning SG service checklists and standards on every assignment
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely, correctly and responsibly
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers at all times
- Report any damage, breakages or concerns to your supervisor promptly
- Handle all customer belongings with care and full discretion
- Arrive punctually and in uniform for every assigned job
Requirements
Essential
- A strong work ethic and genuine pride in delivering a quality clean
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy — comfortable working in a customer’s home
- Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks (standing, bending, lifting equipment)
- Able to communicate basic instructions in English with customers and supervisors
- Willing to follow Home Cleaning SG’s training, standards and service checklists
- Comfortable working independently or alongside a small team
Preferred
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality
- Familiarity with Singapore housing types — HDB, condo, landed
- Experience using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners or steam cleaners
- Ability to follow a service checklist independently without supervision
